Could a fresh romance be blossoming between Lady Gaga and CW star Taylor Kinney?

Kinney, who stars on the series The Vampire Diaries, also played Gaga's mad scientist love interest in her "You and I" video.

A source tells PEOPLE that Gaga, 25, and Kinney, 30, who met on the video shoot back in July, are "hooking up."

The two were reportedly spotted in the Mission Viejo, Calif. over Labor Day weekend and a source close to Gaga confirms that the pair "were hanging out" over the holiday.

The pop star got in touch with her eccentric side for a recent appearance on the U.K.'s Jonathan Ross Show. But this time it wasn't her outfit – a powder blue latex number with a sky-high fascinator – that turned heads, it was her companion: a black-and-white sheep named Kevin.

"I don't know if it's your birthday, but that's your birthday present," Gaga told Ross. "I thought it would be a nice gift for you."

Kim Kardashian has a message for anyone who questions her motives for marrying Kris Humphries – and then filing for divorce just 72 days later.

"I married for love," the reality star writes in a new blog post on her website. "I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!"

Kardashian and Humphries tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in August that was taped for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. On Monday, she filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences."

But it's the televised wedding – not the divorce – she now feels was a mistake.

In the days since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband of just 72 days, Kris Humphries, the reality star has been dogged by reports that the union was a hoax.

But those close to Kardashian, 31, insist that her dream of marrying her Prince Charming at age 30 led her down the wrong path – to the altar.

"She's a hopeless romantic and she felt like she got her fairy tale when she turned 30," a source close to Kardashian tells PEOPLE in its new issue.

For Kim Kardashian, the criticism she's received since filing for divorce from Kris Humphries is the reality of being a reality star.

"It's kind of what you get for living your life so publicly," she said Thursday on Australia's Sunrise morning show – her first televised interview since the divorce filing. "I get that."

Not that it's easy.

"It's kind of like a double-edged sword because we want to share these great times," Kardashian, 31, whose divorce came after only 72 days of marriage, said. "But then when you want to kind of have some time for yourself and have some private time, you're not really allowed to, per se."

Despite making a point to take a "step back"" from her usual media circus, even a low-key Kim Kardashian couldn't avoid being photographed en route to visit Kris Humphries.

The usually camera-ready Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 31, looked solemn as she boarded a late-night flight on Saturday from LAX to Minnesota to see Humphries, 26, whom she filed for divorce from last Monday after 72 days of marriage.

There's been no shortage of frequent flyer miles for Kim Kardashian lately.

Perry, 26, earned three nominations for her "Firework" clip, including Video of the Year and Best Female Video. She's also up for Best Collaboration and Best Direction for "E.T.," featuring Kanye West.

The season 11 premiere of American Idol is still months away but Jennifer Lopez is already hard at work uncovering the country's best singing talent.

"We're a little tougher on everybody," the judge told PEOPLE at a Samsung Hope for Children event supporting the Maribel Foundation in Los Angeles. "Because of last season and the standard that we set, it's easy to go, 'Is he as good as even our top 24 from last year?' "

Not to worry, though. Lopez assures there's been no lack of "amazing" voices.
