We gawked at these pictures
of Taylor Swift and Reese Witherspoon driving around Los Angeles
together for about thirty seconds before we registered exactly what it
was that was so weird about the two of them hanging out: they both dated
Jake Gyllenhaal!
Something about knowing that these two women -- who look like they
could be aunt and niece here -- dated the same guy is kind of
amusing/disconcerting, no?
Anyway, despite their overlapping dating history and age difference
(Witherspoon is 14 years older than Swift), we're kind of into their
friendship. (Witherspoon was also spotted
at Swift's Los Angeles concert Sunday night.) We can see them sharing
fries and laughing about Gyllenhaal's idiosyncracies and shopping for
sundresses together.
